2 Djed and 47 Sema

Today brings two Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. The Djed pillar stands for uprightness and stability while the Sema joins two plants to create something new, a union of two ideas that makes a third idea out of the combination. The two plants joined together are the papyrus (writing and creativity) and the lotus (meditation and spirituality). When you bring writing together with spirituality, you have a journal of your spiritual life. When you use your spirituality as the basis on which to stand every day in your outward life, you have a solid foundation.
