Today’s glyphs are the moon in all its phases, Ayehh, and Hetch, the hieroglyph for the precious metal silver. The moon was considered to be the light in the sky during the hours of night, while the sun was on its journey through the darkness. Unlike the sun, which in the desert is constantly overhead beaming down on us, the moon goes through a regular 28 day cycle of changes, from new moon, which is just a tiny sliver, to the full moon which looks like a gentle glowing street light up in the sky. Silver was considered to be a physical representation of a moonbeam, something you could hold in your hand or wear. Perhaps mercury would have been a better choice, given the changing nature of the moon! What this combination tells you is that there is nothing as constant as change itself. Like the tides of the ocean, there is an ebb and flow to life. The trick for you is to be in harmony with those cycles and changes. If life is not going the way you want it to, step back and look at the cycles. Where are you and where should you be? If you need to adjust something, there is no time like the present to do so.
