Ptah

Today’s card is Ptah, the divine engineer who created the world by separating the primordial flood waters from dry land. Ptah is known for his precision and his beautiful city of white walls, MenNefer (otherwise known as Memphis, Egypt). Ptah asks you to look into your own city. Your home, whether it be a house or a room in a large building owned by others, is your domain. What plans have you made for your home? Are you tending to it as if it were a resting place of God, or are you simply placing your clothes there and sleeping there at night? Ptah reminds you that wherever you are, God is. If you tend your home like a temple, it is a temple. You take this temple with you in whatever you do or wherever you go outside of your home. Wherever you are, God is, and all is well.
