Today’s card is Nebu, the hieroglyph for the precious metal, gold. Because of it’s color and sheen, the ancients thought of gold as sunlight in solid form. It was the skin of the gods and covered the earth with the life-force of Re. In all time periods, it is the basis of wealth and the measure of prosperity. Nebu would have you look at what you treasure most. Is it a person? Is it a quality you have or a skill you have mastered? Is it an ethical way of life passed down to you by your elders or your culture? Once you know what it is, look at it closely and see if there is anything that can take it away? Unlike money, which can disappear quickly, a true treasure will last and gain in value over a lifetime.
