Today’s card is Iaru, the blessed field of reeds that the Ancients considered to be paradise. Imagine how hot Egypt was in the summer and there was never any air conditioning 3000 years ago. Where would people go to get cool breezes? Along the banks of the Nile in the papyrus thickets there is cool water, plenty of wildlife, and pleasant currents of air. Iaru is here to ask you what you consider to be paradise? Is it a place on earth that you call home? Is it a park or a mystical place that you have not yet visited? What would it be like to be there and who would go with you? Iaru reminds you that heaven is also a state of mind that you take with you wherever you go. Just be sure to share it with others.
